We need to detect vehicles entering a covered access lane and distinguish them from posts near the gate. What information would you use to decide between LMS111-10100 and LMS151-10100? The scanner will communicate with an industrial PC over Ethernet.

Also check the exact connector and cable arrangement because the mechanical installation often drives the final choice.

That gives you a practical resolution requirement and makes an on-site comparison much more meaningful.
