After installing the LiDAR inside its protective housing, a curved band of points appears near the sensor. It was not present during the open-air test. The front window looks clear.

The likely sources are the window edge, internal reflections or part of the housing entering the scan plane. Compare scans with the front panel removed, then add one enclosure component at a time while keeping the sensor position fixed.

Check the full scan path with a section drawing rather than viewing only from the front. A small lip or seal can intersect the beam even when it is difficult to see by eye.
